The Council of State of Osun del Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has accused the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of orchestral threats against its leaders, warning that it will not bow to what she described as “relentless tyranny”.
In a declaration signed by its president, companion Christopher Arapasopo, the congress said that the leaders of the opposition party had launched open attacks and coordinated strip campaigns aimed at endangering the life of the leaders of the work for having talked about what he called the constitutional violations by the APC.
Arapasopo, in a reaction strongly formulated to a declaration attributed to the EPC of Osun, described the party as “a lame di Lout, Ciarlatani, Fibsters and Degenera” willing to rewrite the history and moving the fault for the difficulties that devastated the local government system of the State.
“The only reason why Nulge members were invited to stay at home was because the APC criminal criminals at the beginning of this year stormed the secretariats of the local government, destroyed the property, the terrified communities and caused the loss of lives.
The head of the NLC said that the APC had resorted to propaganda because it was unable to attract the members of Nulge to work at work, underlining that the workers would not have been sacrificed “for some false politicians to fill their speakers with the sweat and the future of others”.
He also rejected the statements that was entitled to as a spokesman for the governor Ademola Adeleke, describing the accusation as a “pathetic attempt” to blackmail him.
“Landing on me as a bankruptcy by the governor Adeleke is a shameful lie. These thugs now follow me, claiming that I remain at the hotel and travel with the escorts.
“This alone is proof that my life is under surveillance. I ask the security agencies to consider them responsible if something happens to me,” he said.
Arapasopo urged the workers and pensioners of Osun not to fall in love with those who called “diabolical projects” by their responsible for their economic difficulties, remembering how the past governance of the APC would have reduced citizens to “live from hand to mouth”.
“Their frustration is that they cannot manipulate workers to return to the Lions den. I urge our members to ignore their threats and remain still in the fight,” he accused.
The NLC claimed that he would continue to resist intimidation and defend the well -being of Osun’s workers, insisting on the fact that no threat would silence his voice against injustice and illegality.
