The famous elderly statesman, the lawyer of human rights and philanthropist, Otunba Ephraim Lana Akintan, on Monday they marked his 96th birthday with thanks and special prayers for traditional sovereigns, corporate leaders and students who have dedicated themselves to service and philanthropy.
The modest but symbolic celebration, held in his Oja-Odan residence, witnessed the non-agency offer for the prayers for the Oja-Odan Oloja, Oba (Eng.) Oyebanji Adventune Olowobese and the residents of the city, looking for divine wisdom and the guide for the monarch in driving the community.

Speaking during the event, the elderly statesman said that his greatest joy at 96 was to see both his biological and adoptive children, together with his students, embrace charity as a lifestyle.
“At 96, my joy is that both my biological and adoptive children, who consider my students, have chosen to use their blessings to touch the lives of others.
“It is no longer news that Capo Ibrahim dends Egungbohun is a living icon of philanthropy and kindness. Mr. Paul Amosun (Paul Pobe), Alhaji Azeez Sanni and Mr. Femi Akanbi have all shown what it means to return to the company.
Their lifestyles have become my source of joy, seeing them rescue the not very privileged. May God continue to strengthen them, “he prayed.
