Oyebanji reiterates the commitment for digitized learning, Smart School commissions

The governor of the state of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to revolutionize education through digital learning, establishing the digital classes in all schools in the state.

Governor Oyebanji said this Tuesday during the commissioning of a digital intelligent school donated by the president and CEO of the Hub Equipment group, Gbolahan Olayomi at Government College, Ado Ekiti.

The governor recognized that the intelligent digital school, equipped with modern ICT tools and e-learning platforms, is part of the educational project of its administration to raise the standards of public schools, adding that other public schools in the state would soon draw benefit from the opportunity.

He praised the donor for returning to the community, the governor Oyebanji said that the e-learning structure donated by the Hub of equipment was designed to increase teaching delivery in the school and facilitate effective teaching and learning for improved learning results.

The governor also stated that his government had also aimed at recruiting 1,800 teaching staff and not a teacher to strengthen the educational system and prepare them for the introduction of digital intelligent schools in other secondary schools of the State.
