Panel states PDP Congress North-middle credible

The appeal panel for the Congress of the Democratic Party (PDP) of the people in North-Central described the exercise as credible.

The chairman of the panel, Senator Sunday Marshal, stated this during a press conference on Tuesday in JOS.

He said the panel did not accept any petition that challenged the training.

Marshall said: “You will remember that last Saturday, our north-party zone held a congress.

“We were previously appointed to serve as an appeal panel to entertain complaints that might arise from the results of the Zonal Congress.

“This is in line with the guidelines and constitutions of PDP; we have been on the land since Sunday.

“But in the last 48 hours, we have not received a petition challenging the results of the congress.

“This means that the exercise is free, fair and credible.”

The chairman urged the loyal party in another zone to imitate the north-middle and ensure that their congress was carried out in a peaceful and transparent way.
