The Ballon d’Or award ceremony will take place on September 22nd this year and the number of prizes for women and men will be the same for the first time, the organizers said on Monday.

The prizes for the best female goalkeeper, the best player of young women and the best women’s marker in a club or national team were added to the list this year for the ceremony at the Du Chatelet Theater in Paris, France Football Magazine and Uefa said.
