PDP is dead, I will win 2027 presidential election, Kwankwaso boasts

National leader and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a dead party while boasting that he will win the 2027 presidential election.

Kwankwaso, who expressed confidence of winning the 2027 presidential election while inaugurating the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina on Saturday, said his party was ready to take over the presidency, states and other positions across the country in the next election.

The former Kano State Governor who also paid a condolence visit to the Yar’Adua family over the death of their matriarch, Hajiya Dada, called on party leaders to redouble their commitment to the success of the party in the state and the country as a whole as the party heads for success in the 2027 general elections.

β€œI want to remind you that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is dead, because we were in that party, because they have gone off track, we decided to leave,” the Kwankwasiyya leader said.

He also appealed to Nigerians, especially women and youths, not to allow themselves to be ‘fooled by spaghetti or money in the upcoming elections.’

Speaking at the inauguration of the Secretariat, the Chairman of the NNPP in Katsina State, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, said his party was doing everything possible to enlighten voters on the party’s new logo.

According to Abdulkadir, the new logo symbolizes education for all, which is the area of ​​greatest concern to the Kwankwasiyya leader.

“The party needs to conduct outreach to the grassroots level to provide its members with an understanding of the importance of the new logo,” he added.
