The police inspector general, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the redistribution of the DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in the state of the delta, to serve as the police commissioner, operations, delta command.
Adejobi had held the role of Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO). Redistribution, said IGP, is a strategic move to strengthen safety operations in one of the most sensitive commands of the nation.
As DCP operations in the state of Delta, Adejobi will supervise the security operations, will face violent crimes and favor the strongest relationships of the police community in a state that remains fundamental for Nigeria’s internal security architecture.
“His redistribution further highlights the commitment of the Nigerian police towards progress based on merit and strategic deployment of its best officers in which their experience is most necessary,” added the strength.
