The police operation in Lagos has arrested eight suspects involved in several murder related to the cult in the Yaba College of Technology and its surroundings.
A spokesman for the State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this in a statement on Wednesday in Lagos.
Hundeyin said that the tactical operator attached to the command arresting the suspects in an operation led by intelligence on Tuesday.
He said the suspects were between 24 and 30 years old, added that exhibitions, including one beretta pistol, four 9mm ammunition, one cartridge, two battle axes, and two firewood items, were found in operations.

“Police Commissioner, Lagos, Olohundare Jimoh, praised the rapid response and excellent work of the tactical team of command and Eko Strike Force who performed the operation.
“CP urges the community to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the police for the right action.
“He is equally convincing the public that the order will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and safety of all residents and visitors to the state of Lagos.”
