The police operation in Osun has arrested six suspects in Kultus members terrorizing Osogbo and surrounding areas.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Abiodun Ojelabi, revealed this in a statement on Friday at Osogbo.
He said the arrest of the suspects was part of an effort by the police commissioner, Ibrahim Gotan, to get rid of the state of cult activities and other crimes.
Ojelabi added that the operators arrested two suspects during the week of the Student Union from one of the higher institutions in the state on August 21.

“The Anti-Cult Command Unit arrested two famous cult suspects, with the nickname ‘Orife’ and ‘Aga’, both aged 29 years.
“They claimed to be members of AIYE and Buccaneer Confaterternities (Alora).
In the same tone, on August 19, the operators also arrested several criminals suspected of being a secret sect of terrorizing the population of the city of Okuku and surrounding areas.
“The police detective from the Command Anti-Cultus Unit moved quickly to the city where four suspects were arrested.
“The suspects claimed to be members of Aiye Confaterernity,” said the spokesman.
