The police operation in Anambra has arrested two suspects for the alleged theft of two children in Okpuno-Goba, the regional government of the country in the state.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed this in a statement on Saturday at AWKA.
He said the police operations attached to the Ozubulu Division saved children aged between three and five years on Thursday.
The spokesman registered the suspects as Daniel Onyedika (19) and Nkechi Onuwa (25).
Ikenga said: “The rapid reaction of the operators followed a report by the mothers of the victims, that one of his children came and told him how an unknown person had taken two of his siblings on his journey to his shop along the nwafor junction, Ezoraa, Ozubulu.

“During the interrogation of the suspects, Onyedika acknowledged the crime and took the operators to Oba, where he had handed over his children to Onuwa for the continuation of their criminal plan.
“Command has expanded the investigation for the arrest of other syndicate members.”
