Police confirm death of Judge Offili-Ajumogobia’s daughter, arrest 3

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of Justice Offili-Ajumogobia’s daughter, Chukwu.

Chukwu’s father, Mr. Soboma Ajumogobia, is the younger brother of Odein Ajumogobia, former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.

Command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin told reporters that three domestic staff had been arrested in connection with the incident.

He said the judge’s daughter was found dead on Wednesday.

Hundeyin said: “Three household staff were arrested and handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department, which later took over the investigation.

“Chukwu was found dead this morning (Wednesday) at about 6:45am at the entrance of his parents’ house on Bembe Street, Parkview Estate, Lagos.

“The detention of the three suspects is in line with the directive of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade, for a thorough investigation into the death.”
