Police Debunks Report on Detention of Social Media Influencer in Akwa Ibom

Police Command Akwa Ibom has denied reports on the detention of social media influencers in the state, Ny. Blossom Williams.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Timfon John, made clarification in a chat with journalists on Friday at UYO.

There is a report that Williams was detained by the police for example Deputy Governor of the State, Daniel Eyakenyi.

The report added that the mother of three people was detained because of advocacy for good governance and community empowerment in Oron Nation.

However, John said the order did not know such a detention.
