The police command of the territory of the federal capital (FCT) arrested two suspicions, including one who has placed himself as a soldier, in relation to a robbery accident in Durumi, Abuja.
The suspicions were linked to a robbery that took place on August 20 at about 4:00 in two houses of Ikachukwu Close, in front of the Junior secondary school, Durumi, where the residents were expropriated of valuable objects and a security guard, Stephen Julius, was stabbed.
By acting on intelligence, the agents arrested one of the suspicions, Zubairu Usman, on August 24 at about 10:15 am
He was found wearing a uniform from half a army and falsely supporting that he is a sergeant in the Nigerian army. Usman was captured next to another suspicion, Abubakar Imram of the village of Karamajiji, launching suspiciously close to the crime scene.
One of the victims, Mrs. Akinlade Ayodeji, and the injured guard immediately identified the suspicions, pushing their arrest.
A black kia rio with LSD 197 bu recording number, presumably used during the robbery, was recovered by Usman.
Since then, police investigations have confirmed that Usman is not a soldier, while efforts are underway to trace other members of the fleeing band.
