NAB Police Three suspicions kidnappers in Edo
The agents of the Police Command in Edo arrested three suspicions, who presumably collected over n75 million from the families of the victims between January 2024 and April 2025 in the State.
The suspicions, Asemota Osamede (38), β michael Tomminiwei (43) and Kelly Aitoya (34), were said to belong to a band of kidnapping of four men who terrorize Benin and its surroundings.
The suspicions were collected about 10 victims and collected over n75 million redemption from them in the period.
A police source said that luck, however, ended up on suspicions on April 10 when presumably kidnapped a diode of Mrs. Vivian who manages a sawmill in Eayan, Aduwawa along the Benin-Auchi road, Benin City.
The source stated that the suspicions rapids with force n1.5 million from his bank account while he was in captivity and also collected N6 million redemptions from his family before releasing it.
A week after his release, he said that the suspicions have still called the family members who ask for another N3 million with a threat to kidnap it again or assassinate it if they were unable to pay for the money.
It was said that the family reported the accident to the police and the antideculmic unit of the Edo Command in action.
In the process, according to what reported, the agents arrested three suspicions in relation to the kidnapping of the woman.
CSP Moses Yamu, the command spokesman confirmed the arrest, saying that the investigations had been completed.
He said the suspicions would be accused in court.
“The case concerning Vivian’s kidnapping, the suspicions were arrested and the investigations completed. They would be accused in court,” he said. [NAN]
