Presidents General of Owerri celebrate Amuneke

The Technical Director of Heartland FC, Emmanuel Amuneke, has been honored by the general presidents of the five communities that make up the Owerri Nchi Ise clan in Owerri Municipality of Imo State.

The delegation was led by Sir Osita Udemba, President General of Presidents General, who spoke on behalf of the group. He commended Amuneke for his diligence and commitment to duty, assuring him of their continued support.

Udemba also said the honor reflects Amuneke’s hard work and dedication to grassroots football, adding that his contribution to the growth of the game remains significant. He also wished the former international more success in his career.

Reacting, Imo FA President, Barrister Ifeanyi Dike, commended the delegation for the gesture.

“We must imbibe the culture of honoring and appreciating our heroes while they are with us. The truth is that we are privileged to have Amuneke among us, serving with humility and diligence. All he needs is our support to renew our sports,” he said.

The honor was presented by the leadership of Owerri Nchi Ise General Chairmen, representing the five communities of Owerri Municipality. The general presidents of the five communities of Owerri Municipal are Osita Udemba, the general president of Umuihugba Umuodu autonomous community and the general president of all general presidents; Mr. Kenneth Ibeawuchi Njoku, the President General of Umuororonjo Autonomous Community and the Secretary General of all PGs.

Others are: Chief Anyiam Ejiogu, President General of Amawom Autonomous Community;
Hon Stanley Okoronkwo, the President General of Umuonyeche Autonomous Community and Chief Austin Uba, President General of Umuoyima Autonomous Community.
