The Vice Chancellor of the acting of the University of Education of Ignatius Ajuru (IAUE), Port Harcourt, professor Okechuku Onuchuku, continued to receive praise from the parties concerned on what they labeled as rapid transformation of the Ivory Tower.
Some interested parties such as the chief Geoffrey U. Amadi, who spoke to the journalists in Port Harcourt, said that the school under ONuchuku was making wave in the academic community with its impressive leadership and vision.
Amadi, who graduated from the university a few years ago, recalled that since the deputy chancellor actor has hired the office in November 2021, he implemented several initiatives aimed at improving the academic standards of the University and the general quality of life for students.
“Under Professor’s leadership of Professor, IAUE has continued to offer a wide range of academic programs in seven faculties, including agriculture, education, humanities, management sciences, natural and applied sciences, social sciences and professional and technical education,” he said.
Another interviewee, a high military official, Moses Diche, observed that the University has also maintained its accreditation status with the National University Commission (NUC) ensuring that its programs meet the required standards.
Diche has declared how Iua students enjoy a solid avalanche of infrastructure development and other structures, which according to him was not common among African and foreign universities.
