Rohr is boasted: Super Eagles may not be difficult for Benin

Gernot Rohr has boasted that his former Super Eagles team may not be a difficult team to win for Benin, especially if the two teams faced, Nigeria has not been able to qualify for the World Cup.

Rohr has also said that he hopes to win the World Cup classification group with Benin’s cheese.

Benin is the second in the classification with 14 points of eight games, three points behind the leaders of South Africa with round rounds until the end of the classification series.

In October, then they travel to Rwanda in fourth place, before a final game in Uyo against Nigeria

“We know Ruanda and Nigeria well, the last of which we have already defeated. As for them, we do not know if they are still in a position to qualify. If they are not, it may be less difficult,” said Rohr, who has also described Benin with AFCon 2025 in Morocco.

“Our last two games? They are still possible. You know that with 14 points, we not only have the opportunity to finish first in the group, but we can also finish among the best runners -up.

“Then, we must continue this path.”

The upward coach continued: “The team has balanced: it does not grant objectives, fights together and also has technical resources.

“We are seeing young players confident, and we have hope, without being too optimistic. We know it will be difficult.”
