By completing the integration process, Saglev Electromobity Company Limited, the assemblier and manufacturer of electric vehicles (EV) pioneering of Nigeria, announced the visits of two high -profile personalities in its structure for electric vehicles (EV) in Lagos.
The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Investments, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole should undertake a familiarization tour of the EV assembly factory at the avant -garde of Sagley located at Bang Amos Industrial Summer in Imota, Lagos on Wednesday 30 July 2025.
The company has declared that the visit underlines the “growing commitment of the federal government for green industrialization, local production and innovation in the automotive sector of Nigeria”.
In the same way, the following day, Thursday 31 July 2025, the African Development Bank (AFDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adhesin will also visit the structure as part of its current efforts to support regional sustainable industrial development and the infrastructure for climatic transport.
The CEO of Saglev, dr. Sam Faleye, said: “We welcome the honorable minister, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole and Dr. Akinwumi Adhesin as they assist the progress made in the first person”.
Faleye added that “these visits by national and continental leaders validate our commitment to the industrial future of Nigeria and the clean transport revolution of Africa”.
Saglev produces 16 models of electric vehicles that embrace racing cars, state sedans, medium -sized electric vehicles, BRT buses and utility trucks.
It is believed that society, which undertakes to transform transport through all western Africa, is at the forefront in the transformation of African electronic mobility, actively contributing to the creation of jobs, the development of local content, the transfer of technology and to the replacement of imports within the ecosystem of green mobility.
