On Friday, a court of the magistrate sitting in Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos, sentenced a 52 -year -old repatriation in Canada, Morufudeen Idowu, three months in prison for crossing the Ojota highway, resisting the arrest and attacking a Kai officer in the trial.
In a declaration on Friday spokesperson of the Ministry of State of Lagos of the environment and water resources, Kunle CongaShina said that Idowu declared himself guilty when the accusation was read to him, and was subsequently sentenced for crimes before being sentenced.
Speaking in reaction to the sentence, the state commissioner of Lagos for the environment and the water resources, Tokunbo Wahab, warned that the State would not have tolerated any attack or acts of aggression against any of its agents in legitimate service.
He reiterated that all these agents would be protected with the full force of the law in the exercise of their duties.
Wahab expressed optimism about the fact that the last belief would have been a cleansing for all those who social status or position would not be a decisive in the application of the law.
