Servicom launches the GRM initiative to promote the provision of the service – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

As part of the efforts to improve the effective feedback system, the compact service with all the Nigerians (Servicom) on Friday, organized a one -day seminar to launch the initiative ‘Grievance Remsross Mechanism (GRM).

Speaking in Abuja, the National Coordinator Servicom Presidency, Mrs. Nnenna Akajameli, said that the initiative is to raise awareness of the government staff on the importance of establishing an effective and efficient feedback system.

“Effectively managing the complaint and praise which in turn acts from experience and delivery of improvement of the service? In addition to promoting responsibility and guaranteeing inclusiveness in governance.

“It is also to promote a platform for government agencies to share experiences and challenges that establish it. That equip the interested parties with the right knowledge and skills to design, implement feedback systems and effective complaints to improve any system we have.”

Mrs. Akajameli said that the paper reflects Servicom’s commitment to provide ministries, departments and agencies (MDA) the tools and guide necessary to draw up their service cards before the evaluation. Adding that, it also underlines Servicom’s dedication to promote a culture of continuous improvement, in which the feedback of the interested parties plays a fundamental role in perfecting the processes and improving the provision of services.

Previously, the manager of the Servicom operations, Mrs. Ngozi Akinbodewa, said that the theme: “Improving the involvement and satisfaction of citizens through an effective feedback mechanism”, is able to solicit the MDA to be proactive in facing feedback and complaints from the interested parties if customers or people who ask questions.

Akinbodewa has also stated that the idea is to improve the provision of the service, the effective feedback and the complaint system to allow the MDA to identify the areas in the event of necessary changes.
