Siasia: It is still possible that Super Eagles qualify for the 2026 World Cup

The former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has backed the country to organize a notable return to qualify for next year.

The Super Eagles are fourth in their classification group with seven points of six games, while South Africa heads the classification into 13 points with four rounds of games that will be played.

They will thank Rwanda second to UYO on September 6, before traveling to the leaders of South Africa three days later.

“Everything is possible, but it’s how to do it,” said Siasia.

“Both the players and the coach now have to take their game ‘A’ to these games and should be a game at a time, win one and get confidence for the next.

“We don’t talk about the other game, we focus on the first game.

“We have the players, but we must be careful not to admit especially in Nigeria.”
