The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 presidential election, Omoyele Sowore, has released a list of people he claims are provoking Nigerians to embark on a nationwide protest against bad governance scheduled to begin on August 1.
Sowore, who was one of the organizers of the protests hashtagged #EndBadGovernance, posted the list on his X account on Sunday.
He said the indicted individuals and institutions had provoked Nigerians to take to the streets to express their frustration over the ongoing hardships in the country.
He wrote: “UPDATE: Here is a list of those who incited the public to riot:
1. Ahmed Bola Tinubu: For engaging in massive corruption, electoral fraud, and destroying the middle and lower classes through poor economic policy decisions since coming to power on May 29, 2023.
2. Senator Akpabio and the Speaker of the House of Representatives for leading the most useless Senate and HOR.
3. Yemi Cardoso- CBN Governor/ for destroying the value of the Naira.
4. Inspector General of Police, Egbetokun: for making the police a corrupt and irredeemable national institution.
5. EFCC Chairman: For allowing corruption to flourish by ignoring the real financial criminals while going after the petty criminals.

6. GMD NNPC: for stealing over $3.8 billion through subsidy fraud.
7. Nigerian Army Chief: For colluding with bandits and terrorists through direct sabotage of national security.
8. The Nigerian Navy Chief for colluding with crude oil thieves to prevent Nigerians from getting crude oil sales and revenues.
9. The Comptroller General of Customs for colluding with cross-border criminals to thwart the payment of billions of dollars in customs and import duties to Nigeria.
10. Judges who accept bribes to obstruct the course of justice in our courtrooms.
11. Chairman, @inecnigeria, for holding unfair elections that brought all these criminals to power.
12. Yusuf Bichi—Director-General of the Nigerian Secret Police, aka “DSS,” consistently violates the fundamental rights of Nigerian citizens with reckless impunity.
