Sparta Prague’s Olatunji eyes Super Eagles invite

Sparta Prague striker Victor Olatunji hopes to get the chance to represent Nigeria in the future, reports completesports.com.

Olatunji has grabbed the headlines with his impressive performances for the Czech Super League club this season.

The 25-year-old scored a goal and an assist in his first UEFA Champions League game for the club.

The forward made history as the third African to achieve this remarkable feat.

Olatunji stated that his goal is to wear the green and white color of Nigeria.

“It is a great goal for any young player, especially for us Nigerians. We are proud to play for our country. “The simple fact of wearing a green shirt and the eagle emblem motivates the player,” he said in an interview with Blesk.

“You will realize that you represent a country of more than 220 million inhabitants. And that makes him work with all his heart.”
