Drag Race Star Jiggly Caliente has died at the age of 44, his family has announced.
Caliente, the real name of Bianca Castro-Arabjo, died “surrounded by a loving family and close friends” at 4.42 in the morning on Sunday, his family wrote in an Instagram post.
On Thursday, they revealed that he had a part of his feet which was amputated due to “severe infection”.
Caliente took part in the fourth season of the original US drag race.
After exiting as a transgender, he returned to the show for his sixth All Stars season.

He also starred in the LGBTQ+ Pose TV drama as the Veronica Feocity character -a transvestite who was part of the New York Ballroom scene in the 1980s and 1990s.
Caliente was elected as a judge in the Philippine version of the drag race, which began aired in 2022. He was born in the Philippines but moved to New York as a child.
During his original assignment at the event, he was praised by the judge because of his sense of humor and appearance in the battle of synchronization of his lips.
Judge Drag Race and close friends of Michelle Visage gave her respect to her on Instagram.
“My jiggles … laughter is endless, our conversation is special, your energy is contagious,” he wrote.
“You and remain very loved. This world has lost angels and we want you to soar high ….. I really love you dear.”
Since the drag race was first aired in 2009, the reality show has seen the deaths of several contestants – including English stars Vivienneaged 32, and Valentine Cherry.
