Sultan of Sokoto cries the late Emir of Gusau

The sultan of Sokoto and President of the Council of Traditional Northern Sovereigns of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, expressed profound pain for the death of the Emir of Gusau, dr. Ibrahim beautiful.

The Emir died on Thursday 24 July 2025.

In a message of condolences issued by his media team on Saturday, Sultan extended sincere sympathies to the government of the state of Zamfara, the Emirate of Gusau and the family of the late Emir.

By describing the late monarch as a traditional devoted sovereign, Sultan said that Emir Bello worked tirelessly to promote the well -being and safety of his people and has maintained a strong collaboration with the state and local authorities.

He said that Emir’s death was a great loss for the Muslim community in Nigeria, noting that his support for peace and unification initiatives was commendable.

“At the end of the Emir, we lost a brother, a leader and a friend,” said Sultan. “We pray that Allah forgives all his sins and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus. Amen.”
