Super Eagles hopeful Femi Azeez attracts interest from English Premier League trio

One of the big stars of the English championship this season is Millwall winger, Femi Azeez, and he has not gone unnoticed by the first division teams.

Azeez has become one of the championship’s standout attackers this season, having scored 8 goals and added 7 assists in 25 appearances.

Recent reports say the 24-year-old is attracting interest from the English Premier League trio of Everton, Crystal Palace and Leeds United with a summer transfer in sight.

Born to Nigerian parents in England, he is eligible for both countries but has his heart set on playing for Nigeria, and the head coach of the Nigerian team, Eric Chelle, knows it.

A move to the English Premier League will certainly improve his chances of achieving his dream of playing international football for Nigeria. Although they will face tough competition from other wingers in the team, Nigeria are doing well in that area.
