Super Eagles will be happy to win 1-0 in South Africa-Eight Chelle

Coach Eric Chelle has said that the Super Eagles will be happy to win for the strange goal in the epic World Cup confrontation of Tuesday against Bafana Bafana in South Africa.

South Africa leads the 2026 World Cup classification group with 16 points, six points away from Nigeria in third place, after seven rounds of matches.

“If we win 1-0 in South Africa, we will be happy,” Eric Chelle said in his media information.

“The most important thing is the three points.

“We are happy to have defeated Rwanda 1-0 because the goal was to win the game.

“I am happy that we now have a second game in three days.”

The coach said his team created many opportunities, but they were not efficient in front of the goal.

“We need to have more confidence in the face of the objective, to have a murderous instinct, because we create many opportunities against Rwanda,” he admitted.
