As the countdown to 2025 Women Cup of Nations of Africa (WAFCON) intensifies, Nigeria Super Falcons have confirmed two high -profile friendly games against Portugal and Ghana as part of their final preparations.
Chief coach Justine Madugu revealed that the nine -time African champions will face Portugal on June 23, followed by a clash against the Archirival of Ghana’s black queens in Morocco, the host nation of this year’s tournament.

Adjustment games are part of Nigeria’s strategic accumulation after a 2-0 victory that increases confidence on Cameroon in a previous friendly in the state of Ogun earlier this month.
The Falcons will base their training camp prior to the tournament in Portugal before moving to Morocco for the main competition.
Nigeria, drawn in Group B, will fight against Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana. His campaign begins on July 6 against Tunisia at Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.
With a mixture of experienced players and rising stars, the Super Falcons are aimed at claiming the continental crown they won for the last time in 2018.
