Suspension of the outline of the Federal Electoral College of Warri an affront to the Supreme Court

The Ijaw National Congress (inc) states that the suspension of the delineation of the Federal Electoral College of Warri is an affront to the Supreme Court.

On Monday Prof. Benjamin Okaba, global president, Inc in a press conference in Abuja.

Okaba has condemned the Federal Government Directive to suspend the outline of the Supreme Court of the departments in the Federal Electoral College of Warri

“The inc has with dismay the recent directive of the Federal Government, through the National Security Adviser (NSA) office, suspending the delineation ordered by the Supreme Court of the departments in the Federal Electoral College of Warri.

“We condemn this directive because it is unconstitutional, illegal and politically motivated assault on the holiness of our judiciary and the rights of the Ijaw people to a fair representation.

“For the register, the independent National Electoral Commission (INC) was not undertaking a voluntary exercise.

Okaba said that the Incen was acting lively with a historical sentence of the Supreme Court.

The global president of inces said that the directive had placed the Incen in an impossible position, forcing him to choose between obeying the federal government and obedience to the Supreme Court.

“Filming at this pressure, the INNC is actually in contempt for the Court, it is constitutionally in charge of respecting,” he said.

He invited the Federal Government to order the immediate and unconditional recovery of the Department of Delineation process by the Inc, in close compliance with the Supreme Cout
