Terrorist Naf Raids in Borno

The Hadin Kai Operation Air Component (OPHK) on Tuesday executed two successful air missions targeting terrorist fortresses in the state of Borno.

Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

Ejodame said the first strike occurred at around 5:30 in the morning in Kolaram, a rebels known in Borno.

He said: “Intelligence reports, supported by recording of supervision, confirm the existence of high -value terrorist commanders in the area.

“Some structures, some are equipped with solar panels, identified as active terrorist hubs.

“Naf assets make precision strikes at the location, eliminate several fighters and paralyze the main infrastructure.

The spokesman said the second precision strike was followed at around 3:55 in Arra, in the Sambisa area, adding that the mission of intelligence supervision and surveillance had previously detected terrorist groups, and visuals real-time confirmed a significant presence.

“Munitions guided by precision are used, resulting in the destruction of targets and effective disturbances from group operational capabilities.

“This back-to-back mission is part of a sustainable air campaign designed to erode terrorist abilities, dismantle the structure of leadership, and eliminate asylum throughout Nigeria.

“The Nigerian Air Force remains committed to ensuring that there is no location in the country that offers a safe place for terrorists,” Ejodame said.
