Tezrobert Foundation that establishes the basketball tournament in Owerri

Basketball enthusiasts in the state of IMO are for an exciting weekend while the Tezrobert Junior Foundation, in collaboration with the Imo State Basketball Association, will host a two -day basketball tournament in Owerri.
The event, tagged the Tizrj 2025 tournament, will move away from 18 to 19 October 2025, at the Basketball court of the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
Speaking in the face of the competition, the founder of the Foundation, Robert Okoro, described the initiative as his way of returning to his state of origin and appreciating the unshakable support he has received over the years.
“This tournament is my little way of showing appreciation for my dear state and my people for their encouragement and support,” said Okoro.
He expressed the trust that with the support of the IMO state sports commission, the tournament will further strengthen the development of basketball and inspires young athletes throughout the state.
The Tezrj 2025 tournament should attract teams and players from different parts of imo and beyond, promising fans two days of electrifying basketball and sportiness actions.
