TG Omori responds to claims Nigerian celebrities didn’t support him during health crisis

Nigerian music video producer ThankGod Omori Smith aka TG Omori has taken to social media to respond to claims that Nigerian celebrities have not supported him during his health crisis.

Recall that TG Omori had previously told fans about how his brother donated a kidney to save his life.

TG Omori, who revealed this in a post on his X page (formerly Twitter) while recounting his health challenges, said that his brother donated one of his kidneys so that he could live again.

The music producer, who revealed this while sharing a photo of himself in a hospital bed, said the kidney transplant was carried out on Monday, August 26, 2024.

Responding to allegations that Nigerian celebrities had abandoned him, TG Omori stressed in a post on his X page that his friends and colleagues had been “very supportive” of him during his illness, even before it was made public.

He thanked everyone for their prayers, moral support, and love, stating that it was all he needed. He also described those who said otherwise as “power-hungry dogs” and advised the public to ignore the rumors.

TG Omori wrote: “All I need is your prayers, moral support and love and I am grateful to have received them in abundance.

“The industry and friends have been behind me strongly for months before it became public knowledge. Ignore the power-hungry dogs. Jesus is king.”
