The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), chaired by judge CN OJI, has restored the deposit of Peter Emenche, popularly known as Enenche Eenche, who is facing accusations of defamation of the shepherd Paul Egenche, senior shepherd of the Dunamis International Gospel Center.
The sentence followed a application submitted by Enenche Eenche through his lawyer, dr. Sm oyeghe, in search of the restoration of its deposit or a new order of bail.
This happens after the revocation of his deposit by the magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna of the Magistrate Court of the FCT and after his mandatory retreat on 1 July 2025.
ENENCHE ENENCHE was involved in a long -standing ideological dispute and a conflict relating to the name with the shepherd Paul Egenche.
He, together with the former Pastore of Dunamis Abraham Daniel, was tried at the FCT magistrate Court for alleged defamation through social media posts.
Previously, the case also included Alexander Emenche, a younger brother of the shepherd Paul Eenche and Reno Omokri.
However, the accusations against them were subsequently interrupted, leaving only Enenche and Abraham Daniel who faced the trial.
On Tuesday, judge Oji updated the sentence on the application of the deposit of Peter ENENCHE until Wednesday 20 August 2025.
The shepherd Paul claims that the duo, together with his younger brother, Alexander Enenche and Reno Omokri, has the same through the posts on social media.
On August 1, Saharareportters reported that the demand for Eenche Eenche to restore his deposit had undergone another setback due to the withdrawal of the magistrate Iyanna.
The case of Eenche Eenche has continued to raise concerns, in particular on access to justice in Nigeria and on the oppressive forces of the rich.
Saharareporter had reported that the magistrate Iyanna had, in a previous sentence, had refused to recuse himself from the matter and had insisted on proceeding with the case despite a trusted deficit and expressed accusations of prejudice and compromise leveling against Judex himself.
Therefore, the haste of the magistrate in revoking the deposit of Enenche was not surprising.
Telling his football recently, Emenche Enenche said: โI’m fine and in a good mood. I spent 49 days in detention for an alleged civil case that was converted into the criminal.
“I spent 17 days in prison before I was accused, nine days before they had granted me the deposit and spent 23 days after the revocation of the deposit.”
ENENCHE ENENCHE declared that, unless his question had been reassigned and the deposit granted to him was ready to stay in prison until 2030.
“I am willing to remain here even until 2030, when the file is reassured and a motion for my deposit is granted, as long as Dr. Paul Adama and others will appear in court. I am willing to pay any price to see that it happens so that next time it will stop bending and influencing the systems,” he said.
He appealed to his supporters to ignore the lies that was a form of Christian youth interested led by Paul Adama who facilitated his detention.
He revealed that the aforementioned group was recorded only on March 12, 2025, “more than a month after we left prison”.
“How can a group that has not been recorded bring people to prison on a matter that took place before their existence?” he asked.
“Be strong, I’m refined. I will never fold, I will never give up, I will never give you up and I will never give up.”
