Police operations in Nasarawa have arrested a 22 -year -old woman, Aisha Hashiru, for alleged efforts to kidnap three children under children in Mararaba, the regional area of ​​the Karu regional government in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Ramhan Nansel, revealed this in a statement on Friday at the Lafia.

He said the suspect was arrested on Thursday night by community members at Orange Market, Mararaba, when trying to kidnap the children.

He added that the suspect was rescued because it was hung by a horde after the “A” Mararaba Division Operation, led by the Division Police Officer (DPO), intervened.

The spokesman registered children who were saved as Fatima Auwal (4), Shafiyi Auwal (5), and Aminwal (6).

“Initial investigations revealed that the suspect sneered into the residence of one Ramatu Auwal from the Orange Market and kidnapped his three children.

“Nemesis, however, met the woman when a vigilant community member intercepted her.

“After being interrogated, the suspect claimed to captivate the children on the pretext of buying them biscuits,” Nankel said.
