
The midfielder of Arsenal Martin Odegaard retired from the Norwegian team due to a knee ligament injury, said the premier league club on Monday
Odegaard took a hit during his side 2-0 wins the Premier League Saturday on West Ham United, and although he tried to continue, in the end he was replaced by Martin Zubimeni after 30 minutes.
On Saturday 26 -year -old will miss the qualification of the Norway World Cup against Israel, as well as their friendly match against New Zealand on October 14th.
In a statement, Arsenal said that Odegaard has undergone “a medial collateral ligament injury to the left knee.
“Martin will continue to be evaluated and edited by our medical team … during the international window, with the aim of a return to action as soon as possible.”
Odegaard’s season was strongly impressed by the injuriesWith the midfielder who was injured in the shoulder against Leeds United in August and underwent an anniversary of that injury against the Nottingham forest last month.
