The commander Opers Safe Haven organizes the extensive involvement of the parties concerned to improve safety in the plateau

The general officer who commands the operation of the Nigerian army and Nigerian commander Safe Haven, the major general Folusho OyinLola, said that concrete efforts are underway to arrest the recent attackers in the areas of the local government of Bokkos and Bassa.

The commander made it known today on April 17, 2025, during the commitment of a stakeholder organized towards the de-coaner of the tension and the prevention of further attacks in the state, held in Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Jos.

The commander described the commitment as a request for profound action and restoration of peace. He stressed that no provocation could justify the murder of innocent lives and the destruction of the property. General Oyinlola added that the operational strategies have been revised to face recent disorders and hunt the authors of the Dastardly acts, including their collaborators.

In addition, the Senior Special Councilor on the commitment of the community (Central-North) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mrs. Inhabitun Essiet in her observations, said that the federal government is saddened by the recent loss of human lives in some LGA of the state. He described the causes of the crisis as a multidimensional which must be faced headlong with the collaboration of the critical interested parties. He thanked the commander for the organization of the event and also argued that the non -Kinetic mechanisms will be strengthened with the government’s effort to face salient issues that could bring peace to the state.

The interested parties who spoke to the event commissioned the security agencies to fish for the managers of the attacks in both Bokkos and Langa LGA. They urged the state government and opsh to distribute their machinery to combat the security situation and safe people from further losses.

The interested parties denounced the growing proliferation of weapons and invited the appropriate authorities to guarantee the rot of these weapons in the hands of non -state actors. They reiterated their commitment to work with the security agencies in putting a permanent end to the circle of violence.

The special guest of honor and the executive governor of the state of the plateau, the lawyer Caleb Mutfwang, said that the government is working 24 hours a day to prevent further attacks against the people. Represented by his special councilor Senior on the commitment of the community, the governor said that the government would not have given in the protection of the people. He urged people to avoid bitterness, be an objective and work together to fight the threat. He encouraged security agencies to double the efforts to reduce threats to security that could issue from communities.

The commitment of the interested parties that provided for seven areas of the local government of Bassa, Mangu, Jos North, Bokkos, Barkin Ladi, Wase and Riyom, had present traditional leaders, religious leaders and leaders of the community.
