It has been praised for the CultiX Cablefacturing Company (Cultipix PLC) as Stakeholder of Aastern Nigeria Inter-Club (ENIC) Tennis League gathered for their annual general meeting (AGM) at the Safari Recreation Club, Owerri.
Cultiix, described as the “spine of the League”, sponsored the regional regional tennis championship longer from the beginning, gaining applause for its consistency and commitment to the development of basic tennis. The role of the company, under the visionary leadership of its president and founder, Engr. Gilbert Obiajulu Uzodike (Oon, Dsc), has remained fundamental for the constant growth of the League.
The meeting also had a new spark while Sterling Bank Plc has announced the intention to collaborate with the Enic League. Representing the bank, Damian Onyegbara, a regional head of Sterling Bank, said that the institution is intervening to add more value and excitement to the competition. “Let’s see the potential in this League and we are here to help improve his profile,” he assured.
Last year’s Co-Sponsor, Emeka Diwe, patron of ENIC and member of the Sports Club ABA, added his voice, praising the vision of the head of the head Gabriel Ajukuchukwu, whose initiative supported the League for decades. The AGM also witnessed the presence of high -profile personalities, led by the president and in the overall patron of the League, Sir George Eche, together with the presidents of the clubs throughout the area. In particular, the new participants – Ph Sports Club and Oguta Sports Club – were formally welcomed, while the Calabar Sports Club made a famous return to the competition. Likewise, the NKWERE Country Club has officially completed its recording, further expanding the scope of the Enic League.

For the first time in the history of competition, the event was streamed by the Department of ENIC ENIC to families throughout the area. Innovation reports a new season of digital commitment, with plans already in place to transmit at least one game from each center during the League campaign.
The meeting rounded up with a high note, with clubs and stakeholders who reiterated their readiness to maintain the League Enic not only in life but flourishing as the largest piece of regional tennis in Nigeria.
