The sons and daughters of the Ojikpadala department in the Egume Community of the local government area of ββDekina, in the state of Kogi, awarded the prize for the results of life to the former national president of Egume -ose Descents Union (Eodu), Alhaji Lawal Mohammed Ibrahim.
The president of Ojikpadala Ward Sons and Daughters both to the organization of the house and the diaspora, his partner Peter Abuh said that the gesture is in recognition of his performance and his altruistic service to humanity during his two mandates in office.
Comrade Abuh while he awarded the prize to the former national president of Egume -ose Descents Union (Eodu), Alh. Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim on behalf of the organization and the community of Egume during the weekend, he also described the honor well deserved.
“We are presenting this certificate of” deliveries award “in recognition of your exceptional support and commitment for the growth and development of the great union and its immediate surroundings during your mandate as national president”. He said.
He then reiterated the commitment of the members to work as a team for the growth of Eodu and the organization, promising to remain respectful citizens of the law and always work in harmony for the development of their land.
In his response, the immediate past of national president of Egume-Ome Descents Union (Eodu), Alhaji Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim, said: “This meritorious prize is dedicated to all the sons and daughters of the Egume-Ome community for their moral and financial contributions towards the success of my administration”.
“I am very grateful to the leadership of the sons and daughters of Ojikpadala Ward for giving me a prize to achieve life for my small contribution to the development struggle in our community.”
“It is noteworthy that people take knowledge of our small contributions to infrastructure development, the maintenance of peace and the safety of ownership and the life of citizenship in the community of Egume and its surroundings.”
The former president who stressed that the prize will not only push him to provide more services to the community, but has promised to seize any opportunity available to contribute with his share to the infrastructure lifting of the community.
He then accused young people in the area of ββnot giving in to their efforts to ensure that the lives and properties are protected that in no provocation will take the law in their hands.
Alhaji Ibrahim took the young people in the Ojikpadala department to work in synergy with their group of vigilants to build a formidable safety architecture in the area.
Alh. Ibrahim was the national president of the descendant Union of Egume -ose, (Eodu), Egume in Dekina LGA, in the state of Kogi, respectively between 2019 and 20123.
