Judge Chukwekekwu Aneke from the Federal High Court, Lagos, on Wednesday, rejected the accusation of the N12.3 billion fraud submitted against the Honeywell group leader, Oba Otudeko, and others by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

The judge attacked the indictment following EFCC’s information to court that the parties had reached full settlement in this case.

The Commission submitted a 13-Calculation of Fraud Calculation of Oba Otudeko and former Director of the First Bank PLC implementing, its base area.

Also charged was a former member of the Honeywell Council, Soji Akintayo, and a company, Anchorage Leisure Limited.

On the last date of March 17, the first legal advisor, Head of Wole Olanipekun (SAN), told the court that the meeting involving all legal advisers had been held on the example of the Attorney General Agung Federation (AGF).

When the case was called on Wednesday, Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN) appears for EFCC along with Ny. Buhari and the Suleiman.

Mr. Bode Olanipekun (SAN) appeared for Otudeko, Mr. A. Olumide-fusika (San) for Onas, and Mr. Kaninde Ogunwumiju (San) for Akintayo.

Mr. Elijah Akefe appeared for Anchorage Leisure Limited, while Mr. Bo ofulue appeared for nominal complaints (first bank).

Olanipekun then told the court that all the extraordinary problems between the first defendant and the first bank had been resolved.

He told the court that the same thing had been communicated to the right authorities, including prosecution.

The advisor to the first bank confirmed the position to the court.
