A high -power delegation from the state of the plateau visited the Emirate Zazzau Council for the killing of wedding travelers in the area of the local Mangu government of the state.
This happens after the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nhu Bamalli, complained of the failure of the government of the Plateau to send an official delegation to condemn the families of those involved in the attack.
At least 13 travelers from the Basawa community in Zaria were killed while traveling to a wedding in Pau on June 20, while 11 others were hospitalized.

Speaking during the visit of condolences, Valhaji Sambo Mohammed, Emir of Wase, who led the delegation, said that the visit should have come before, but was recommended to delay the trip for the reason for security.
He said: “It was only now that we received a sign of security to undertake the condolence visit.”
He also informed that another delegation will make a follow-up visit for further resolutions with the main parts interested for the unfortunate impact.
The Emir, on behalf of the delegation, offered excuses for the involuntary delay.
He said 22 people had already been arrested for the murder, underlining that the plateau promised to ensure that justice had served.
In his answer, Zazzua’s Emir appreciated visitors, saying that the reason for the delay was understandable.
He said that Kaduna and the states of the plateau had a long history of mutual relationships that should not derail due to the actions of a few individuals.
Emir urged Keys’ interested parties to undertake activities that would have improved peace and harmony.
Speaking on behalf of the affected community, Malam Yakubu Yusuf, Ungwar Dutsoho, praised the Emir of Wase and the delegation for their concerns and condolences.
However, he appealed for compensation since most of the victims were winners of the bread of their families who left many orphans who must be treated.
The delegation included the state prosecutor, the Sarkin Mangu and other traditional leaders, the president of Algon of the State of Plateau and the presidents of the areas of the local government of Mangu and Quan Pan, as well as some glass of the elderly.
