Keystone Bank Limited, one of the main financial services providers in Nigeria, officially reopened its completely renewed branch located in plot 584, Ikorodu Road, Ketu, Lagos.
The reopening ceremony, held on Friday 16 May 2024, attracted the attention of entrepreneurs, customers, market leaders and dignitaries from the whole area of Ketu and beyond.
Declaring the branch open, the CEO and the CEO of Keystone Bank, Hassan Imam, underlined the strategic importance of the Ketu branch to the expansion of the retail sale at the national level of the bank and the wider commitment to customer satisfaction and financial inclusion.
According to him: “The reopening of the Ketu branch is a significant milestone in our strategic growth path.

The imam observed that while the bank continues to deepen investments in digital and Fintech banking solutions, the physical branches in the main shopping centers such as Ketu remain essential.

“In the last nine years, Keystone Bank has supported the MSME sector through partnerships with global institutions such as Facebook, Google, the Company Development Center and the Chamber of Commerce and the Lagos industry. We are building on that legacy here in Ketu.”

In addition, speaking to the event, Mrs. Nnenna Anyim-Okoro, executive director, Corporate Bank & South, praised the lively commercial ecosystem in Ketu and reiterated the bank’s long-term commitment to support small and medium-sized enterprises.

He urged the bank to introduce financial packages tailor -made to support the growth of small businesses in the area.
Among the many participants, Ayokunle Ibikunle, a local electronics trader, while he spoke with journalists, expressed enthusiasm for development.

More than 200 entrepreneurs and traders have opened new accounts to the event, while many others have reactivated the dormant ones. The branch should act as a critical hub for retail banking services and SMEs in the region.
The dignitaries present at the reopening included high managers of Keystone Bank, leader of the community, market associations and members of the entrepreneurial community of Lagos.
