The general console of Nigeria in Cameroon is dead

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wednesday, announced the disappearance of the ambassador Taofik Coker, a general console of Nigeria in Buea, the Republic of Cameroon.
The ministry in a declaration of his spokesman, Kimiebi Ebienfa, said that Coker died on August 16 after a short illness.
The Ministry described his disappearance as unfortunate.
“The Coker ambassador was a laborious and dedicated career diplomat that served Nigeria with distinction, commitment and professionalism in different skills.
“His premature death, therefore, is a great loss for the diplomatic community and the nation in general,” he said.
Ebienfa said that Coker had, before his appointment and assumption of duty as a general console of Nigeria, in Buena, meritoriously served Nigeria in his missions to Conakry, Guinea and Shanghai.
Condola with his family, colleagues and immediate friends of Caker and prayed for the peaceful rest of his soul.
