The head of the staff of the governor Fubara accuses Rhac Rhac Burnt’s rapporteur Amawhule

The head of the staff of the governor Fubara accuses Rhac Rhac Burnt’s rapporteur Amawhule

In what seems to face the real question concerning the Chamber of the Shareholders’ Meeting of the State of the Burt, Edison Ehie, the head of the staff of the Governor of the State of the Suspended Siminalayi Fubara rivers, accused the speaker of the State of the State of the Rivers Martin Amaewle, a Leyalist of the Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike, to be responsible for the burning of the 29, 2024.

Speaking on the program of television channels, Ehie categorically denied any involvement in the destruction of the legislative building.

He said he did not have a preliminary knowledge of the accident and to realize only in the early hours of October 30 when he learned about the demolition of the assembly.

He said: “I categorically said that I have no hand, I was not aware, without information, I woke up in the early hours of October 30 to find out that the assembly had been demolished.

“But it is important to clarify the events that led to that day. I was a leader of the tenth house of State Assembly of the rivers under Martin Amewhule as a speaker. I was in the ninth assembly, I was also in the eighth assembly.”

Ehie, a former leader of the tenth House of Shareholders’ Meeting State, provided a detailed report of the events that led to the fire.

He recalled that the assembly had shown the commissioners on Thursday 26 October and subsequently had been updated.

According to him, the update was not set for October 30, contesting the statements that legislators were scheduled to reunite the day of the fire.

“In the ninth assembly, I was the vice -president of the house of rivers while Martin Amawhule was the leader of the house.

“I was offered N5 billion to facilitate Fubara’s imhapement, says the head of the staff of Rivers Gov, Ehie

“So, we built this report and the house has its procedures guided by the constitution and permanent order.

So, we finished the projection commissioners on Thursday when we updated ourselves on a later date. Everyone returned home peacefully, happily, they celebrated those who had made the list.

“Let me declare clearly, we did not update ourselves on 30 October after we finished sitting on Thursday of the previous week,” said Ehie.

He stressed that access to the assembly complex was strictly controlled, in particular after 18:00, when only the speaker was allowed to enter the emergency circumstances.

He stressed that the fire took place on Sunday, a non -working day and cited the courts of the court and statements of witnesses of police officers and civil defense agents, who confirmed that they had seen the speaker’s convoy enter the premises on the night of October 29.

He said: “Another very crystalline point is that in the assembly house, after each session, whether there is sitting or not, after every day of work, usually there is security under the authority of the Mr. President.

“When it is 18:00, nobody has access to the assembly chamber complex except Mr. Altoparlante for any emergency.

“In the meantime, on October 29 it was on Sunday. If the assembly was burned on Sunday, cross the problems that were raised that day.

“In the case filed before the Judge and Obile of the Federal High Court and before the judge Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja, we had over 10 witnesses including Nigerian police men who such as Asp, Inspector and other ranking police officers, including the security agents of the Civil Defense who were at the gate.”

He stressed that the Chamber of the Share State Assembly shares the proximity to the Nigerian police headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.

Ehie claimed that such a high profile accident could not occur unnoticed by the police, further implying Amaewhule, who was the speaker at the time of the fire.

He underlined: “They clearly said in their oath witnesses to have seen the convoy of The Speaker in which he gets in and this is why they allowed him to access on the night of October 29.

“So, it was very clear through their witnesses’ statements, which allowed him to access that Sunday evening, not even on a working day.

“Don’t forget, the Chamber of the Assembly is sharing the proximity to the Nigerian police headquarters in Rivers, Moscow.

“This is the reason why they said he was a convoy of the speaker. Who was the speaker starting from that 29 October? That’s why they opened the entrance doors and led with his convoy. It is only the speaker who has access to the state of the state of the spinners after working hours.”

When he pressed if he was accusing Amewhule directly of Orchestrate the Work Fire, Ehie said that Amaewhule should be asked what happened to the house of the assembly complex.

“Because he was the speaker then and because he was the only one who has access to both the early hours, not to mention a weekend.

“Once they are over 18:00, there is only one person who, by emergency, can access the complex of the assembly house of Rivers State, and is the rapporteur, being the officer.

The accusations intensified the political crisis in the state of the rivers, where the factions faithful to the governor Fubara and Wike were blocked in a power struggle.

In the meantime, Amawhule has yet to publicly respond to the accusations.
