The Federal Ministry for Housing Building and Urban Development has warned the public against the fall of the scammers’ gaps regarding the 753 housing units seized by the Commission for the economic and financial crimes that have been dedicated to the Federal Government.

In May 2025, the EFCC delivered the 753 housing units seized by a former central bank governor, Godwin Emefiele.

Recall that while taking possession of the property from the anti-Innesto agency, the minister of housing, the arch. Ahmed Daniwa, announced the plans of the federal government to sell the houses to the members of the public through a transparent and competitive process in line with the renewed agenda of hope.

In a declaration signed by the director, the press and the public relations of the Ministry, Badamasi Haiba, in Abuja, Saturday, the ministry said he had not involved any individual or corporate to sell the units.

Haiba said: “The Federal Ministry for Housing Building and Urban Development wishes categorically to inform the general public that has not appointed or given sales rights to any company or consultant to coordinate the sale of the 753 houses seized by the Commission for economic and financial crimes, linked to the former Governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele.

“The Disclaimer became necessary against the background of a complaint from a company named Pink Synergy Global Company Limited, which has been appointed official calls for sales of the 753 units of houses by the Federal Government.

“The Ministry learned that the company has written proposals and letters of introduction to Nigerians and unsuspecting agencies that ask them to buy an expression of interest module to buy the houses.

“The copy of the Pink Synergy Global Company Limited Letter spotted by the Ministry has a Yashim Kejang, CEO, as a signatory.

“To avoid doubt, no sale of the 753 units of the houses started by the ministry.

“The Ministry is informing the public that will give a clear and adequate announcement regarding the sale and strategy outlined for the sales of the houses, as indicated by the president of excellence Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The public is advised to direct all the investigations to the Ministry through the public construction and housing development departments, and press and public relations, for clarifications before committing any resource.”
