The IMO Sports Commissioner sends a message of good will to the athletes in Delta

Owerri, September 1, 2025 – The Commissioner for Sport in the State of Imo, Hon. Obinna Onyeocha, has prolonged a warm greeting of new months and a message of encouragement to athletes representing the state in the delta.

In his message of goodwill, Onyeocha prayed for abundant blessings, renewed strength and new opportunities for the month of September. He urged the IMO athletes in competition in the state of the Delta to be safe and make the state proud by bringing the laurel home.

“Embraces every day with hope, courage and purpose. We are confident in your ability to excel and represent imo with distinction,” said Onyeocha.

The commissioner also wanted to athletes a joyful, productive and satisfying month, reminding them to shine and remain inspired as they bring the hopes of the state to the national scene.
