The IMO team got a place in the semifinals of the football event at the Niger Delta Sports Festival after playing for a 1-1 draw against the state of ondo.
Following a victorious opening game against Cross River State, in which the IMO team claimed all three points, the young team, led by coach Ransom Madu, faced a hard challenge against a well -drawn ondo team. Although he went back throughout the game, IMO found the turning point towards the end with a penalty goal, gaining them a crucial point.
With four points from two games, the IMO team has successfully progressed from their group to the semifinal.
