The Islamic Movement Brigade blamed Tinubu, the guard for killing Shia during the procession in Abuja

The Islamic Movement (IM), has blamed the President of the Tinubu Bola and the Nigerian Army Guard Brigade for the alleged massacre of its members for 2025 Abuja International Quds Procesion in which confrontation with security operators caused the deaths of some of its members, while several others were injured.

According to a Saturday night statement by the HE resource forum from the Islamic movement under the leadership of Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky, IM, on Friday, starting a procession in supporting the Palestinian government and to protest the silence of the Nigerian government over the crisis between Israel and Palestine.

In the statement, Zakzaky narrated that the procession, which began with peace at the Usman bin Affan Mosque in Wuse 2, Abuja, was roughly disturbed by security forces using direct ammunition to unarmed civilian people who expressed solidarity with Palestine.

“A few minutes after the start of the procession, the HQ Nigeria Army Team (guard brigade) attacked the QUDS program using life ammunition; Many sustainable shots and life -threatening injuries and some loss of life due to brutality,” Zakzaky said.

The statement accused the soldiers of staining Islamic and cultural values by forcefully attacking their unarmed members.

“In addition to killing an unarmed protesters, the Army did a lot of cruelty, such as men who arrested women at the place of the Usman bin Affan mosque, beating women and children and issuing their hijab on the outskirts of the mosque; this cruelty was the taboo in Islam and Muslim culture,” the statement said.

Zakzaky also rejected the report that there was a confrontation between the group and the army, emphasizing that the protesters were peaceful.

“Unlike the report that there is a clash or confrontation, there is no form of provocation from the participants who guarantee brutality,” the statement said.

Zakzaky, however, associated the attack with a leaky letter recognized from the National Security Advisory Office (NSA), dated March 26, 2025, which he claimed instructed the security forces to take the “necessary action” against the procession.

“Since the release of this letter, security agents, especially in FCT, Abuja, are preparing for the atrocities mentioned above the Usman bin Affan mosque.

“The incompatibility in the ball government of Ahmed Tinubu was surprising. When talking to Al-Jazeera in Doha, Qatar in March 2025, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tugar, Nigerian Foreign Minister, stated that ‘Israel must stop his war in Gaza, and the world needs to drop” its double-double ” Dropping “double win double win over the kills over the killse the killing the killing the killse.

“Then in March 2025 National Security Advisers directed security agents to attack the free Palestinian protesters in Abuja.”

The statement further gave the number of victims during the confrontation, and confirmed that 380 protesters, including women and children, were arrested and detained at SARS Abbator, Guzape, Abuja.

“The four of our members who were killed were Shaheed Ibraheem Dalhat (Sharif Albani), Shaheed Nasir Abubakar, Shaheed Abdulaziz Abubakar, and Shaheed Auwal Abbas Bichi.

“The number of victims and bodies with guard and police brigades is still unknown. However, we will renew the public in time.

“We really hold the ball of Ahmed Tinubu who is responsible for the cruelty carried out by the guard brigade through murder, abusing the principles of Islam and Muslim culture while attacking the Abuja International Quds 2025 around Usman bin Affan, Jumu’at Mosque, Abuja.

“Considering the above, we demanded the unconditional release of all that was captured in connection with 2025 Abuja International Quds Processions held on March 28, 2025.

“We also demand prosecution of those who are responsible for the murder of the free Palestinian protesters,” the group said.
