The kidnapper was arrested in Taraba

Police operations in Taraba have arrested a kidnapper suspected, a Kingsley Alose, in the regional government of IBI in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, James Lashen, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday in Jalingo.

The statement reads: “Commander operations received a report in the IBI Division on August 6 by Mr. Hillary Ubandoma that three armed criminals were not known to invade the house of Mr. Joshua Ubandoma from Sabon Pegi and took him away.

“After receiving information, the operators attached to the IBI Division, collaborated with local youths, acted, visited the scene, trailing motorbikes of the kidnappers into the bush, and searching for a wide forest.

“Through an incessant effort, on September 2, the operators managed to capture Alose from Sabo Pegi who was the same in connection with this case.

“This case is being investigated at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in the command.”
