The lawyer group asked Bauchi SSG, Ag to step over the accusation of the graft

A group known as a lawyer for the cause of Bauchi (Lawba) and the allied group has asked the Secretary of the State Government of Bauchi (SSG), General Accountant and other officials involved in money laundering and corruption accusations to resign or be deferred by Fortwith.

The call was carried out by the group when speaking to reporters in Bauchi on Tuesday, led by UK Adams ESQ. Deputy Chairperson, Lawyer for the cause of Bauchi (Lawba) & Coordinating Program Secretariat.

The group said that, “based on the seriousness of the allegations against the ssg of bauchi state, the accountant general and other officials involved in the corruption case currently pending before the honurable justice oa egwuat Officials of Bauchi State Government Shunned an earlier Invitation by the EFCC on the Matter, we call on all of them to resign or step acide from their respected offices immediately waiting for the determination of the case against them.

“After their failure to do so, the governor must immediately suspend them from the office. In the state of Edo, recently that the Attorney General and the Commissioner of the Judiciary, Samson Osagie was withdrawn from the suspension after he, together with the Chairperson of the Regional Government Services Commission, was suspended on charges of involvement in financial corruption,” he added.

Lawba stressed that, “So, the Governor of the State Bauchi has a moral task and even the law to follow.
