The Naira earned N10, trading at N1400/$1 on the black market

Nigeria’s currency, the naira, rose N10 against the American dollar on Monday after trading at N1,410/$1 for the last four consecutive days.

The local currency strengthened by N10 against the British Pound, trading at N1,900/£1, compared with N1,910/£1 the previous day.

The Naira continued to close flat against the Canadian dollar and traded at N1,000/CA$1.

The naira rose N5 against the euro, trading at ₦1,610/€1, compared with the previous day’s ₦1,615/€1.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was yet to release the official exchange rate at the time of writing with the naira closing at N1,356.88/$1 on Friday last week.
